Immigration Aid provides a specialist service in the area of immigration and nationality law and is regulated by the OISC.

Although Immigration Aid was established in 2006, however, most of our advisers started their respective professions as early as 1997.

Our in house advocates are highly qualified and have over 20 years of experience in Advocay before the Tribunal. They are all trained by the Bar Council, namely the Bar Vocational Course and are registered with the OISC at level 3

Moinul IslamHe obtained his first degree from University Of Reading in 1997 in Politics & International Relations. He then went on to obtain a second degree, an LLB, from City University.
Later, he went to study the Bar Vocational Course and completed it in 2001. He was subsequently called by the Inns of Court School of Law (Bar-at-Law).
In 2001 he joined the IAS (Immigration Advisory Service where he worked as a Supervising Counsellor and also an LSC (Legal Servises Commission Supervisor). During this time he obtained experience working with the Immigration Tribunal. He also supervised a team of Tribunal Counsellors.
Moinul Islam, over the years, attended regular interviews with BBC radio, Community TV channels and many talkshows on immigration issues.
In short, his immigration work started in 1997 with various law firms and currently continues with Immigration Aid.

Monohaha Polly Islam MBEShe has been working with us since the inception of this organisation. Her experience in advice work started in the late ninetys.
In 2019 Queen's Honours List she was honoured with an MBE for her various community and social activities.
Syed Manjur Elahi
With an LLM qualification added to his CV, Syed Elahi is also studying LPC part-time to qualify as a solicitor with a view to practice other areas of law.
His Immigration knowledge started in 20 years ago with our overseas office. He has specialist knowledge in Work Permit, amongst other areas.

Mohammed Anisur Rahman (Anis)Mainly responsible for our Sylhet Office, Anis has been an adviser with is for more than 15 years.
Based in Sylhet, he provides a one-stop service to those seeking advice and assistance with immigration, as well as UK pension and passport related matters.
Most people who are often stuck in Sylhet (Bangladesh) find his service extremely helpful.
